This place cares only about the money not the pet would not treat my beloved
Was looking for a "hometown" vet since ours retired, and that is exactly what we got! Staff that was welcoming, Dr. Amanda was wonderful and caring, and a follow up call from Dr. a few days later! I cannot rave enough about them!
To add insult to injury we received a letter, 3days after their death, from them saying how they hoped we had good memories of them. Oh and if you don't pay the bill off in 60 days they will take legal action. I have not paid the bill as of yet because I have been crying almost nonstop over the loss of Pie. She was so much more than a "pet" she was family. She even saved my life once. I will never forgive them for leaving her alone. Had they once told us that they leave them alone Pie never would have been allowed to stay. I could have taken care of her or taken her to the emergency 24 vet for care. They killed my baby!
We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine and pet surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.
NEVER leave your precious baby overnight here! I took my two dog in to them as soon as they show any distress. Honey, a 14 year old, was coughing and was kind of gagging throughout the night. Pie, a 10 year old, was whining in her sleep but had no other symptoms. These two are part of my family of four dachshunds, the other two were fine. The tech checked both dogs with no problems. When the vet (Amanda) came in later Pie barked. Anyone ever having anything to do with this breed knows they are barkers and Pie is very talkative. She examined Honey first and said she heard a lot of crackling thought it was pneumonia. Prescribed antibiotics. No offer of x rays or checking for anything else. She refused to examine Pie without a muzzle on her. Pie was the most gentle sweet dog on the planet but since I was worried about her I put the muzzle on her. She did a brief exam suggested X-rays, which I agreed to. Turned out that she had a belly full of rocks, needed surgery. We made the arrangements for the surgery the next day. Took Honey home with us. I said to them repeatedly "whatever they need," "you can call 24 hours a day my phone is always with me." That night Honey got worse I called and they said bring her in gave me a in the day appointment. I asked them to X-ray her and give her fluids. The X-rays came back with an enlarged heart, we were given heart meds and sent home with her. She may have lived had she been started on Ned's the day we took her in. When asked about Pie she had come through surgery fine and was recovering. Honey died that night. With her age and the fact that she had many health problems her whole life we were saddened but didn't expect her to live forever. They called us as we were burying her told us, "Pie is a little anemic and we want to keep her overnight for OBSERVATION." At no time were we told she would be left alone overnight. Had we known that we NEVER would have left her. I have spent thousands of dollars on my dogs over the years and would have spent whatever was needed to ensure their safety and well being. Pie died alone sometime in the night, when we called to find out what time to pick her up we were told of her death.
Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. Good prices. My pets love them and I do too! My dog lives them so much he lays on them!
