Nice short stop. Would have been longer if the facility had a restroom or porta potty.
Small but peaceful park. Perfect picnic stop to be alone with family and still be close to civilization.
A lot of work recently went into this historical building to bring it back to life. A nice stop if you are out for a cruise. They have educational signs listing the history of the building and area.
In a history buff so it's nice to see a historic homesite like this. And finding out it became a park back in the 30's was amazing!
This small historical site was closed for renovations when I was there, looking through the windows took 5 minutes at best. There just wasn't enough to see for my preference but my son and I did get a chance to discuss education information.
